Data deletion
Last updated: 16 August 2026
This page explains how to request deletion of personal data processed through Ristoflow. It applies both to people who received a message from a restaurant using the service and to the staff of client restaurants.
If you received a message from a restaurant
The restaurant that contacted you is the controller of your data. You can address it directly, or write to us and we will act on its instructions. Write to [email protected] stating:
- the phone number on which you were contacted;
- the name of the restaurant, if you remember it;
- an approximate date of the contact.
We need the phone number to locate the data concerning you: without it we cannot identify it. We use it only for that search and to reply to you.
If you are a client restaurant
You may request deletion of your organisation's data at any time, writing from the same email address you use to access the service. On termination of the contract, data is deleted within thirty days in any case.
What happens next
- We confirm receipt of the request and verify your identity.
- We reply within thirty days, as provided by Art. 12 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679.
- We delete the data concerning you from all Ristoflow systems, including backups, within their rotation cycle.
- We tell you which data, if any, we are required to retain by law, and for how long.
Automatic deletion
Even without any request, the call and message log is deleted automatically after 90 days, unless the restaurant has set a shorter period. Details are in the privacy policy.
Revoking the WhatsApp connection
A restaurant that has connected its WhatsApp Business account can end the connection at any time from the WhatsApp Business app, under Settings → Account → Business platform → Disconnect. From disconnection onwards we stop receiving any message relating to that number.
